The Cape

I am glad, that I can finally release a little project we have been working on the last couple of weeks. As much as I love hunting for new treasures for my wardrobe, designing them by myself is way more exciting. I discovered my love for designing and creating clothes on the project we had with the brand ANKARA, where I was able to do so.

That time, we wanted to create something for the autumnal shoot, something I have never had before in my wardrobe, something that would go more out of my comfort zone. At the same time, it should be easy to wear on a daily basis and warm. At that point, a big thank you to my beloved sister and team member for tailoring it, and bringing our ideas to life. I love the result, it is so fluffy :D. When it comes to layering, balancing the different materials and colors is the key. So, for that look I wore the lighter and thinner fabrics underneath, as I feel like putting the thickest material on the top, avoids a chunky look, which happens easily while we are layering. I went for a  grey skinny jeans (similar here from Only)  and a grey fitting turtle neck pullover (similar here from About You). Why?

1. As the cape is already interesting in its patterns and fabric, I wanted to hold the rest of the outfit as simple as possible, which makes the whole outfit effortless and casual.
2. I felt like staying in the same color shade emphasize the patterns and the colors of the cape more. As it was for a casual occasion, I went for black boots (similar from Breuninger here). I think that this is one of those outfits you can really turn from chick casual to chick and formal, by switching the boots with some pumps and adding accessories.

That’s it. Hope you like it.
Let us know what you think about it in the comments below.

Have a nice week 🙂
